| Devin, I thought you'd like to know your little guy ate two of the rats I got from Suzie earlier today and I got some pics just because I think he's gorgeous. Rat #1 Rat #2 | |

| I think so, too. I didn't catch his name, though. Does he have one, Devin? | |

| I am stoked he ate sandy. Just very stoked about that lol you have no idea. He has eaten for me but he turned it down the last 2 times i tried...maybe it is because he is alone in that tank and has been for a day or two. I tried separating him from MJ but he still didn't eat. I only separated them for a few hours. His name is Cybin. | |

| Just minutes after his "date" with one of my girls.... He's a great little guy, Devin! Out of all the males I offered food to last night, he was the only one who accepted it. I pulled a few rats out of the freezer to thaw and then had to heat f/t rat heads with a hair dryer to get any real interest from any of my balls and he was the only one who struck AND ate. | |

| Don't you hate it when they stirke and wrap it up, but then don't eat?! My spider did that a few weeks back. But hopefully warmer weather is almost here to stay . . . maybe, if I'm lucky, my not-quite-up-to-weight females will pack ont he few extra grams they need. | |

Yes, yes I do! I never have that problem when I'm using freshly killed feeders. It's just the frozen/thawed stuff. They want to eat, but by the time they finally decide to give it a try it has cooled down a bit and they back off. It's soooo frustrating. I sat with a hair dryer and a bowl of thawed rats last night and of the 5 snakes I tried to feed, only two of them ate. The leftover rats went to the only jcp still interested in eating -- she'll eat anything if it smells like a rat. lol

| I fed my little brazilian a mouse the other day because he wouldn't touch the amputee rat i had. the rat was missing a hind leg and a front leg and had a club foot......So the brazilian at a mouse and I tried feeding lucy a mouse as well.....she didn't have any interest so I just dropped the mouse in the brazilian humidity hide and left. I came back and he had eaten it. It was basically room temp too. He will be my trash dispenser. Speaking of which Sandy, I would like to put in an order for whatever sized rat you fed to Cybin. I'd like 2 of those live and a large rat live as well. so just those 3 if you are getting them from the same person live. If you are getting them from some one else and it would be easier for me to just get them I will do that. | |

Those rats came from Suzie (OldMillRdFarm) here. She's located in Halls if you want to get some feeders from her. I'm waiting for her to have more chunky rats before I get more from her. The small rats I can get from her are a bit smaller than what I've been getting from Tom (my usual rat guy) and fickle feeders seem to love the little smalls. I haven't gotten in touch with Suzie in a little while but intend to do so soon because I'll need to get more feeders in the nearish future.

| hahaha Well, he's actually not had his tail twined with anyone or anything at all today. He's settling in his humid hide at the moment and looks like he's getting ready to shed. | |

| Well, now he's refusing a meal. He did just shed, though, and no rough patches anywhere. He's very handsome. | |
