Hello, my name is Bear, I reside outside of Newport.
Currently I have no herps but in the past have owned many different species. I use to live in the Florida Keys (boat captain and scuba instructor), and belonged to the Florida Keys Herp Society. The keys were great for the enthusiast. My monitors, iguanas, turtles and tortoises lived in outdoor enclosures. Indoors I had poison arrow frogs, red eyed tree frogs, Pac-man frogs, leopard geckos and several species of rat and king snakes. Now that I have Grandkids and a daughter that teaches fifth grade,I believe my interest has been resurrected.
I also enjoy radio control cars, trucks, tanks and boats. I have my own offroad course on my property.
That's pretty much it and I look forward to being a part of the forum.

It was great! Except when a hurricane comes, having a sulcatta crappin' in the bathtub, 6 adult iguanas and a savanah monitor taking over your bedroom! lol!
