Oh and yes I was thinking of getting the snake at fins and skins because they always are really well cared for there, but they are a bit more expensive....

The snakes that will be at Fins N' Skins' sale come from both Mike and one of his breeder friends. What I saw last year all looked like healthy babies, though. Smile Definitely check out the sale and see if anything just really catches your eye. Oh, and haggle the price whenever possible. lol

I have never had a snake before, I am 14 and have had many frogs and toads, one lizard, and two rats (not to mention my famillys dogs and cats) and I really want to get a snake. But I didnt one to get something as common like a corn or ball python. Do you think the kingsnake will be a good beginner snake? (yes I have done looooads of research)

I like king snakes they are good snakes, but they do musk when frightened, that would be the only thing that i could foresee as a problem for you. It is pretty gross and smells repulsive. So if you can get past that, they are awesome snakes. You could get a dumeril boa. They are very docile snakes and not too many people have them around here.
