Our first HATCHLING!

We are so excited to know that we did something right! Haha! We found our first hatchling of the year, and ever, lastnight, after Brent's parent's left from their visit. It was already done hatching and was just taking it all in. We had our son in the tub, so we had to wait until after we put him to bed to get the gecko out of the incubator and in it's new home in our hatchling rack.

We're hoping this little one will hypo out and lighten with each shed. This one is a baby from Scorch, a SHCTB, and Leia, an APTOR.

Now we're just waiting for it's clutchmate to hatch!

Aww how cute. Eric said that it will probably hypo out. I like the Y on its head too.

Do you have a macro setting on your camera? To keep the photos from getting blurry you can either take pics from farther away and crop them in closer, or turn on macro so that your camera knows it's supposed to be looking at something close up.

Yeah, for some reason, they are a lot better. Don't know why, lol! My camera is pretty tempermental, though, lol! And thanks! Now it's back to waiting to see if we get more hatchlings! Lol!

It was pretty funny. And I probably won't be posting any more pics unless we get one that looks different. So far, they all look very similiar. Not too exciting after a few times, hehe!

Friday we put our Rainwater Albino pair together, and it was successful! So we'll have some albino babies this summer!
