Ok another dumb new girl question. I think (fingers crossed) I've finally got rid of the mites on my red tail boa. She got done shedding though and I've noticed that she has several vertical lines on her side where her scales are kind of sticking up. Is this normal? Tried to look up different things on line but just scared me lol! Shes eating fine and acting fine. Any ideas?

Give her a good soak in warm (not hot) water. Sounds like dehydration.

I've seen that before on snakes and it does seem to go away but I would deff. consider soaking the snake in a tote just to make sure that it has enough moisture like Kazzy said. Smile Glad that spray worked on the mites. I hate mites with a passion!!! Especially with that last incident that we had with our boa rescue! That was the worst I have ever seen it! Good Luck!! Smile
