Figured I'd share what I'm working on this season. So far I've only got two active pairs. I'm still tossing some ideas around before I make final decisions on other potential pairs. Wink

Dragon & Eve (mojave x mojave)

I'm hoping to produce some super mojo BELs with these two but I haven't ruled out the possibility of throwing Erebus, my black pastel, in with Eve and make this a who's your daddy clutch. Erebus is approximately 6 months old now and is already slamming small rats and producing sperm plugs. I'm going to put a few more meals in him before I consider trying him with Eve. I'd be happy with either mojos and BELs or mojos and black magics - and ecstatic if I had both in a multi-sired clutch.

Ailynn & Glyph (normal x yellowbelly)

Ailynn is currently deep in blue so her normal light coloration is completely hidden in this pic but it provides really nice contrast for Glyph. The little yellowbelly I got from Dagan has figured things out and is an absolute stud now. Don't mind the mess. They like it dirty. I'll be cleaning the tub after I separate the two of them. LOL

Third pair is Glyph & Freckles (yellow belly x normal het burgundy)

I need to start remembering to remove the water bowl before pairing some of these guys because they make such a mess if I leave it in with them.

I hope the yellow belly works out well for you in both clutches. I have considered getting a YB just to try with a fire or the bee. I like what they do to other morphs.

Thanks! Smile

I'm hoping to get a nice female YB from Ailynn's clutch. I decided to stop pairing Freckles with anyone for now. She's got the weight back on but I'm not sure that YB is the direction I really want to take with her. I may just wait a while and see if my black pastel is ready to go later in the season and pair him with her.

I didn't get a pic because I didn't want to startle him, but Erebus, my black pastel male, was actively courting and trying to lock with Eve, my mojave female! So exciting! He's an earlyish 2011 so I really wasn't expecting much out of him this year and wasn't sure if he would really know what he was doing but there's no doubt about it! LOL He needs to give my yearling pastel some pointers. Poor Fiyero hasn't figured out which end he's supposed to lock with. Embarassed

But anyway, I'm delighted in my little black pastel and wanted to share. I'll continue cycling Dragon, the male mojave, and Erebus with Eve and hope for the best. Santa
