| How exciting! Okay, correct me if I'm wrong, but these eggs come from two het or possible het piebald parents? I can't remember... : P Does that mean even if these are normals, they might be het for something as well? Can't wait to see pics once they all slide out of those shells. | |

No these came from normal x pastel and normal pairings. No hets involved in these clutches. The clutch that's due to be laid in the next few days, however, is coming from a 100% het pied x 100% het pied pairing. Whatever normals are produced by the pair will be 66% poss. het pieds.

| Okay, all but one baby has left its egg and I'm noticing a peculiarity among Ailynn's crew.. Nearly every one of them have het pied markers. I did pair her up with Gabriel, my 100% het pied, EARLY on in the season but not for long (only a few days!) because I changed my mind on using Gabriel with more than one female. I don't believe any of Dewshine's have this and the only difference being that Ailynn was also paired with Gabriel for a short time so I'm wondering if these guys are poss. het pieds.. Someone remind me not to do this in the future! I will be selling these guys as normals, but with the understanding that they MIGHT possibly carry Gabriel's genes. | |

| What are you going to be selling the babies for. I might like to get a female from Ailynn's group of babies. | |

| I'll be selling them at $40 each after they have shed and are feeding consistently.
I'll get pics of the two groups when I get a chance and I'll make sure to include belly shots of them as well so you guys can see what I'm seeing.

| So far only two of the nine have eaten for me - D-04 and A-01. The rest seem to think rat pinks are just plushy pillows. | |

| Hoppers were a definite hit! All babies have fed and look very content in their tubs right now. | |
